Anthony Callea has undeniably cemented his name as one of Australia's most recognised singers and entertainers.

His debut single The Prayer topped the charts for an amazing 5 weeks! Not only did this become the highest and fastest selling single of all time by an Australian artist but also earned the singer a much-coveted ARIA Award.

Callea's self-titled, multi-platinum debut album hit No.1 on the Aria Charts and spawned four Top 10 hits. If that record showcased his voice, his second album A New Chapter also showcased his songwriting skills and clocked up another Top 10 slot - indeed everything he has released has charted in the Top 20 in Australia.

Playing live is Anthony's forte. The double-whammy of that voice, and his warm but cheeky personality, can win over a room in ten seconds flat. Big stages? No problem. As well as annual headline tours of his own, Callea has been handpicked as support acts for the likes of Celine Dion, Diana Ross and Whitney Houston. All three divas were impressed with what they heard, not to mention their audiences.

Anthony has also been unafraid to share his voice in other mediums. A stint as Boq in the Broadway musical Wicked was a critical success, along with envelope-pushing performances in Rent and Dead Man Walking.

His experiences have allowed him to mentor on TV shows It Takes Two and more recently FOX8's Ultimate School Musical and he has received awards stretching from Channel V 'Artist of the Year' to the prestigious Mo Award.
